Make go-to-market accessible to anyone

A million people can now build a product who could not two years ago. Almost none of them know how to take it to market, and every tool built for that job assumes a marketing department they will never hire. We are the step after the build.

What we are building

A system that acts, and then proves the action worked

Producing marketing work became free, and the reader stopped being reliably human. Both halves of the world that marketing software was built for ended in about eighteen months, and what is left scarce is judgment: knowing which of the five hundred things you could do is the one that moves a number.

Judgment cannot be bought from a better model, because it requires outcome data about products like yours and that data was never published. It exists only inside a system that both acted and measured. So we built the loop — propose, get approved, execute, measure, learn — and everything else follows from keeping it closed.

The full argument is the manifesto

How we work

Four rules we can be held to

They are not values on a wall — each one has cost us a feature, a shortcut or a nicer-looking page.

01

One test for every feature

Does this compound, or does it trend to free as models improve? Compounds — we invest. Trends to free — we build the cheapest honest version and move on. It is the rule that stops us shipping our thirtieth drafting agent.

02

Measurement is not a phase

An action whose outcome we cannot measure has not been executed, it has been performed. Nothing in the roadmap ranks above closing that loop, because everything else depends on it having closed.

03

Honesty is a feature, and it is enforced

A button that looks like it does something must do it. An agent must be named for what it actually does. That is why our agents page lists eight and not thirty-six, and why the charts on this site say when their data is illustrative.

04

We are the first user

Bladesmith runs on our own products before it runs on yours. The first measured outcomes in the graph are ours — which is also the only honest way to find out what does not work yet.
